WFMD Euro Fishion Song Contest

Here at Mahseer Trust, we have been regular supporters of World Fish Migration Day for many years. Understandably, due to the current worldwide restrictions on movements to attempt to halt the spread of Covid-19, the novel Coronavirus, the expected May celebrations have been moved back to the new date of 24th October.

As part of this year's events, WFMD are asking for supporters to share a song they have written on the theme of fish migration. Our freshwater habitat specialist advisor, Mark Everard has completed his song, Swimming Free and you can watch it here:

Be sure to share your song with us as well as WFMD, so we can pass it on to all those in lock-down and help raise a smile in these worrying times.

The best song will win the Happy Fish Cup, which has to be one of the most sought after trophies currently available since so many sporting events have been cancelled!

For younger WFMD fans, take a look at this short video from Mahseer Trust patron Jeremy Wade https://youtu.be/mqs8fPCICcc and then join the Fish Art Contest. It would be great if there was a flood of mahseer entries...
